electrodisiac.com was created to help fill a cultural void in one small town, Hemel Hempstead. The plan was to throw a few parties, play some decent music and give an alternative to the local commercial clubs.
The idea caught on, our nights have grown, other club nights have sprung up and you can now hear the delightful bass heavy sounds of House, Electro, Ghettotech, Hip House, Bassline, Techno and Dubstep most weekends emanating from a handful of forward thinking local venues.
As part of our mission to inject some culture into suburbia electrodisiac.com has been relaunched to promote new dance music and give exposure to artists who’s music we enjoy playing in our DJ sets.
Where possible we always include a link to buy featured tracks. If a download is made available, it’s either because it was sent to us by a record label, artist or PR person. It may be a remix we found on another blog; we frequently pass on music and news we find on the blogs we read – that’s how the internet works, word-of-mouth. We’ll always give credit and link back to the source. If you would like any content removed and don’t want us to promote what you’re doing then please contact us and we’ll be happy to take it down. If you’d like to hire us for your party, advertise at our events or on our website, please contact us.
